Due to the persistently low incidence values below 100 in the city of Dessau-Roßlau and the district of Wittenberg, the castles in the Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz and Stein Island in Wörlitz Park will reopen their doors to visitors from Saturday, May 29 and can be visited as part of a guided tour. The gondolas and ferries will also be available again. The Gothic House opens on June 01.

Secure admission tickets online:

In accordance with the regulations currently in place to curb new infections, it is important that interested parties purchase their admission tickets online in advance. Tickets can be ordered for the desired date on our website www.gartenreich.de and picked up at the respective castle or gondola station up to 10 minutes before the start of the guided tour or gondola ride.

Contact Tracking:

For any necessary contact tracking, the contact details of the visitors must be recorded. This is possible via smartphone with the apps provided for this purpose (Luca app or Corona warning app) or analog. Corresponding QR codes for registering the visit are posted at the entrances.

For mutual protection, we urge you to observe the following rules:

✓ Please wear a protective medical mask.

✓ Keep a safe distance of 1.5 to 2 meters.

✓ Pay attention to hand hygiene: Use the hand disinfectant provided.

✓ Follow the instructions of the staff.

✓ At the ferries, please pay appropriately.

Opening hours:

Wörlitz Palace and Stein Island are open daily (except Mondays) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; the Gothic House is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The castles Luisium, Mosigkau and Oranienbaum can be visited between 10 am and 5 pm.

Those who want to experience Wörlitz Park from the water can take a gondola ride daily between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. or use the ferries (Roseninsel and Teelauben ferries daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Amtsfähre daily from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.).
